Search continues for suspect responsible for GSU fatal shooting

The search continues for the suspect responsible for a fatal shooting Wednesday morning on the campus of Grambling State University.

The victims were identified as 23-year-old Earl Andrews, a senior at Grambling, and his friend, 23-year-old Monquairious Caldwell, both of Farmerville, LA.

Crimestoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for credible information regarding this case.

Anyone with information on the shooting can contact the Lincoln Parish Sherriff’s Office at (318) 548-3160. 

“This tragic incident appears to have occurred between persons that knew each other, to some extent at least. There are no indicators that this incident bears any resemblance to any of the random acts of violence or domestic terrorism that have been experienced around our country in recent weeks” said Lincoln Parish Sheriff Mike Stone.
