SFD crews battle house fire on Dudley Drive

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Firefighters battled a large house fire in Shreveport’s Fairfield neighborhood Friday evening.

According to Shreveport Fire Department Chief John Lane, the fire started around 6:11 p.m. near the intersection of Dudley Drive and Creswell Avenue.

It took over 30 firefighters 40 minutes to put out the fire. Fortunately, the residents who live in the home are living out of state.
