Shreveport Police have a man in custody accused of engaging in inappropriate sexual acts with juveniles.
Back in May of 2017, investigators with the Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit received a report of a sexual assault of a juvenile. Detectives immediately launched an investigation and discovered additional victims. Based on information and evidence gathered during their ongoing inquiry, authorities identified the suspect as 33-year-old Antonio Bryant.
In November of 2018, detectives procured a warrant for Bryant’s arrest charging him with two counts of First Degree Rape and one count of Molestation of a Juvenile. Police received a Crime Stoppers tip on February 21, 2019, reporting that Bryant was in Dallas, Texas. Through a coordinated effort with the Dallas Police Department, Bryant was taken into custody. Bryant will be extradited back to Caddo Parish and will remain incarcerated at Caddo Correctional Center under a $ $375,000.00 bond.
