Shreveport police looking for man involved in December stabbing

Shreveport Police are seeking the whereabouts of a man suspected of a double stabbing last year.

Back on December 24, 2018, Shreveport Police patrol officers were called to the 2500 block of Lakeshore Drive relative to a stabbing.  Upon officer’s arrival, it was learned a suspect had entered the Pel State Fina and engaged in a verbal altercation with employees inside the business.  During the verbal dispute, the suspect, identified as 57 year old Larry Lejay, reportedly produced a knife a stabbed two employees before leaving the business on foot.  Both victims suffered injuries from which they would recover.

Since the incident, authorities have produced a warrant for the arrest of Lejay who faces charges of aggravated second degree battery.  Bond in the matter has been set at $100,000.00.  Persons with any information on the whereabouts of Lejay are asked to contact Crimestoppers at (318) 673-7373 or visit P3tips.com.  Crimestoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of Lejay.
