SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Cross Lake is now accessible after being closed earlier this week due to rising water levels in Shreveport.
On Tuesday, March 2, the Shreveport Police Department announced the closure of the river that was prompted by an increase in lake levels.
SPD said boat access to Cross Lake would reopen once the water went down.
