SPD arrest suspect in kidnapping of 6-year-old

SHREVEPORT, LA - Shreveport Police have a woman in custody following her alleged involvement in the kidnapping of a six-year-old Shreveport girl yesterday afternoon.

Multiple attempts were made by family members and investigators to contact Hodge by telephone in an effort to have Hodge return the child but Hodge would not comply with requests. Hodge was taken into custody and booked into the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office on her warrant. The child was reunited with her family.
