SPD continues to seek missing woman

Shreveport Police investigators continue their search for a woman who went missing one year ago today.

On May 15, 2017, 67-year-old Irma Byler was reported missing by family members.  Byler left a friend’s residence in the 600 block of Euclid Street on May 9, 2017, and was said to be headed to Arkansas. She has not been seen or heard from since. Byler is described as a white female who is approximately 4’11” tall and weighs 130 pounds.

Investigators are asking for anyone with any information on Byler’s whereabouts to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 or 318-673-7020.
