SPD seeks suspect in weekend kidnapping

Shreveport Police detectives are searching for a male believed responsible for the aggravated kidnapping of a male and a female over the weekend.

Quanterious Johnson, 23,of the 2000 block of Hawkin Street, is believed to be one of two suspectsin the crime. The other male suspect, 38-year-old Chico Bell, was located and booked onto Shreveport City Jail.

On February 24, 2019, Shreveport Police responded to the 3000 block of Hillcrest Avenue relative to a shots fired call.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with two victims, who advised they were giving an unknown male a ride when he pulled out a gun and forced them to drive to the above address.

Once at the residence, Suspect was joined by another black male and both gave multiple demands in attempts to force the victims into the residence at gunpoint.

Based on information and evidence gathered during their investigation, detectives obtained a warrant charging Johnson with two counts of Aggravated Kidnapping.
