The DeSoto Parish School Board will hold a special meeting on Monday to discuss the search for a new Superintendent.

Earlier this month the board selected three candidates to be interviewed for the position.

The candidates are:
Clay J. Corley – Network Deputy leader for the Louisiana Department of Education.

Eddie L. Jones Jr. – Principal of Florien High School in Sabine Parish.

Kathy Noel – Interim superintendent and Director of student learning for DeSoto Parish School District.

A new Superintendent is expected to be named at the board’s meeting on May 3.

The position became available when Dr. Cade Brumley left to take the Superintendent’s position in Jefferson Parish.
