Huntington High School junior, Janae Williams is preparing for the opportunity of a lifetime.
“So many people have been to Carnegie Hall, it’s exciting to just go there.”
She will be on stage performing with the Carnegie Hall Honors Concert Choir.
“It’s bigger than what I thought I was getting myself into, but it’s a big accomplishment.”
Janae started singing in the choir at her father’s church and she wants to major in communications at Southern University in Baton Rouge.
“I love speaking, I like talking, using my voice and I want to inspire others.”
Janae had to send in an audition tape and her hard work landed her a spot to perform in New York next February.
