The Caddo Parish School Board receives an update on the district’s progress from the superintendent.
Dr. Lamar Goree outlined the successes and challenges for the school system over the last three years at Tuesday’s meeting.
Currently the majority of students in the district attend an A, B or C rated schools. There has been a 35 percent increase in students attending A rated schools. There was also a 30 percent drop in students at F rated schools.
Goree addressed concerns from board members about school closures and he said there are no plans this calendar year to close any campuses.
