Detectives need your help identifying a man who was seen on video stealing toilet paper from a local discount store.

The theft happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. back on Aug. 25 at the Fred’s Store on Hwy 80 in Haughton.

Surveillance video caught the man walking through the store with five jugs of liquid detergent and two packages of toilet paper. The suspect then walked out of the store without paying for the items.

Investigators say the suspect was questioned by management outside the store on whether or not he paid for the items and he replied yes.

The suspect was last seen by the store manager loading the items into a late model white full-size GM SUV.  He then left the parking lot headed towards Brookshire’s.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing denim overalls, dark color boots, a khaki baseball cap, dark frame glasses and a faded pink shirt.
