Authorities on the hunt for a suspect in connection with the burglary, theft and property damage of a local cow pasture.

Detectives with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office said the suspect committed the crimes on two separate occasions off Hwy 154 in Elm Grove.

On Aug. 10, a man forced entry into a camper and a shed located on the property and stole a battery and key for a tractor. The owners then installed a video surveillance system to monitor the property.

On Aug. 12, a suspect was caught on the surveillance video checking the lock to a cow pasture before cutting it and entering the property. He stole $2,000 worth of horse riding gear and a Black 2006 Toyota Tundra extended cab pick-up truck belonging to the property owner’s son.

The suspect is described as a white male, late 30s, wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt, jeans and Nike tennis shoes.
