SW Arkansas drug bust lands two behind bars

Two people have been arrested following a drug bust in southwest Arkansas. 

According to a press release, officers from the Camden Police Department and deputies from the Ouachita County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert Samuels III and Tiesha Pickings around 2 p.m. on Monday.

Investigators say Samuels had been under investigation for several weeks for drug distribution. 

When officers entered Samuels home on Elm Street, they say they found three guns, over half a pound of marijuana, and K2.

Samuels and Pickings have been arrested on several gun and drug possession charges. 

Police say Samuels has a criminal history that includes firearms and drug arrests.
