Jim Taliaferro picks up two endorsements in his bid for Shreveport Mayor.

Two former candidates for Mayor, Ray Smith and Kenneth Kreft, have endorsed Taliaferro.

“There is one candidate in the race for Mayor with the experience to address Shreveport’s crime problem. He is a man of integrity who has served our nation and community with honor. Jim Taliaferro stands out in the field as the only candidate who can turn our city around. Jim will be the Mayor we can trust” said Smith.

“I’m a logical person and a numbers guy. The logical choice in the mayor’s race is the most qualified and electable candidate. That choice is a man who not only has what it takes but is also running for the right reasons, because he cares. Jim Taliaferro is known and loved throughout our city as a public servant. I urge everyone to support Jim for Mayor of Shreveport” said Kreft.

“I am grateful for the support of both the only other law enforcement candidate and one of the most intelligent candidates in the field. I look forward to working with them and all candidates in the cause of a better, safer Shreveport” said Taliaferro.

The election for Shreveport Mayor is November 6.
