Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over
Texarkana Arkansas Police are cracking down on drunk driving this holiday weekend.

TAPD is participating in the ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ campaign to remind people not to drive under the influence.

Police say they are increasing road patrols, taking a zero tolerance approach. If caught you could lose your license and be fined up to $10,000.

“If you’re found drinking and driving you will go to jail. There’s no questions, no taxis. There’s no anything, but a straight ride to jail because it is a serious offense,” said Kristi Bennett, TAPD, PIO.

The campaign starts tomorrow and will last through July 5th.
