Jareona Crosby, now 18, is charged with second degree murder in the fatal shooting of Tsgt. Joshua Kidd.

One of the teens accused of killing a Barksdale airman is back in court today.

Jareona Crosby entered a plea of not guilty.

Her attorney, Randall Fish says the District Attorney’s Office has yet to prove Crosby was the person who pulled the trigger killing Joshua Kidd.

18-year-old Crosby and fifteen-year-old Alonzo Wilson both are facing second-degree murder charges.

The two allegedly were burglarizing cars before the tragedy.

Fish says it’s going to be interesting to see how this case is going to play out.

“DNA was recovered from a flashlight. The match was for Alonzo Wilson and not my client Jareona. Alonzo Wilson was at the scene and so far there’s no evidence other than Alonzo’s word that Jareona was even at the scene,” said Fish.

Crosby will be back in court February 12th.

The other suspect, Alonzo Wilson is scheduled to be in court this Friday.
