The countdown is on for this week’s big rivalry game pitting Arkansas and Texas High Schools against each other. The game is expected to sell out.
An added bonus this year is a new stadium at Arkansas High School, where the game will be played. Coach Barry Norton gave us a tour Wednesday. He says a live DJ will join pre-game festivities to complete the atmosphere. Norton is confident fans will be impressed this Friday night.
Norton said, “Everybody that comes to the ballgame we want to have a great experience … all the kids, adults everybody … and then hopefully get a win every time we play out here at Razorback Stadium.”
Friday’s game starts at 8pm. School officials say no tickets will be sold at the game.
TASD released the below statement regarding the game.
