A man who was pulled over for a traffic violation leads police on a chase and ends up in jail on drug charges.
The incident happened back on Oct. 30 on Arcadia Road in Center, Texas.
During the traffic stop police identified as Troy Anderson who had an active parole warrant for his arrest.
After the officer instructed Anderson to get out of his vehicle, he placed his vehicle in drive and sped away.
The pursuit ended on CR 1490 after Anderson’s vehicle became stuck in a ditch. He then ran away but was captured a short time later K9 Elliott.
Authorities found suspected methamphetamine inside Anderson’s vehicle.
A weapon that was reported as stolen out of Timpson was also recovered after K9 Elliott removed it from Anderson’s right hand.

Anderson was arrested and booked into the jail for the following charges:
- Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG1>=1G<4G
- Evading Arrest/Detention w/ a Motor Vehicle
- Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence w/ Intent to Impair
- Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
- Parole Warrant
Additional charges are expected in this case.
