The suspect in a shooting that left two people dead and two others injured at a Henderson apartment complex was captured late Sunday in Louisiana.

According to our newspaper partners, the Longview News Journal, the suspect, Randy Buford Wynn, 63, was arrested in Bienville Parish.

Henderson Police Chief Chad Taylor said Wynn would face capital murder charges.

According to the Rusk County Office of Emergency Management, officers were called to the Oak Manor Apartments on South Van Buren Street in Henderson shortly before 7 p.m.

Just before 8 p.m., an advisory to officers heard via police radio in Longview warned the suspect was armed with a shotgun.

Witnesses inside the South Main Church of Christ say they heard shots while they were inside the church.

The injured victims were flown to a local hospital.

Henderson Fire, DPS, and the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the incident.
