Two NW Louisiana school districts earn ‘A’ grade

The Louisiana Department of Education is out with its school district scores for 2017.

Bossier and DeSoto Parish schools both have ‘A’ grades. 

This is the second year in a row that DeSoto received ‘A’ grade.

Bossier schools saw a big jump, going from a ‘B’ to an ‘A’ rated school district.

Caddo Parish schools also some improvement, but maintains a ‘C’ grade.

2017 scores for NW Louisiana schools:

Bienville Parish  – B  (93.4)    
Bossier Parish  – A    (101.1)    
Caddo Parish – C    (78)    
Claiborne Parish – C    (78.1)    
DeSoto Parish – A    (103.1)
Natchitoches Parish – B    (88.8)    
Red River Parish – D (62)    
Sabine Parish – B  (98.4)    
Webster Parish – C (74.1)
