UPDATE: Arrest made in Texarkana, AR murder

UPDATE: Texarkana, Arkansas Police say they’ve made an arrest in a weekend murder.

Cameron Scott Halliburton is charged with first degree murder in the death of Jarrod Klein.

Klein’s body was found early Sunday morning with multiple stab wounds.

Klein has been sent to the Arkansas Crime Lab in Little Rock for Autopsy.

Police have released the name of a man who was found stabbed to death inside a crashed vehicle over the weekend.

Investigators have identified the man as 27-year-old Jarrod Klein of Texarkana, Texas.

Early Sunday morning Klein’s body was found inside a Chevrolet pickup truck that had crashed into a tree in the 900 block of Linden Ave.

Detectives said Klein suffered several stab wounds, which happened while the vehicle was in motion. His body has been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsy.

TAPD is actively working to develop a suspect in this case.


Police in Texarkana, Arkansas say a man was found stabbed to death inside a crashed car.

Police were called out early Sunday morning to a crash at the intersection of East 9th and Linden Street.

When police arrived, they found the victim dead inside the car with multiple stab wounds.

The victim is a 27-year-old white male.
