LSU basketball player Wayde Sims was shot and killed early Friday morning in Baton Rouge.
Sims was a Baton Rouge native who attended University High School.
The Baton Rouge Police Department released new information and a video of the fight that occurred related to the shooting.
According to lsusports.net, his “father Wayne Sims played basketball at LSU under Dale Brown.”
According to BRPD spokesperson L’Jean McKneely, detectives are attempting to identify and locate the individual who is seen towards the end of the video above, on the right side of the screen, wearing red pants with a white strip down the leg and a gray shirt.
Detectives are also attempting to identify the other individuals in the video for questioning.
