Shreveport Police have released the name of the man who was fatally shot on Interstate-20 over the weekend.
Detectives say the passenger, 22-year-old Deandre C Brown, of Shreveport, was struck at least once and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Kenyon Frazier, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to University Health with life-threatening injuries.

Shreveport Police are investigating an early morning shooting that has left one man dead and one fighting for his life.
Just after midnight today, Shreveport Police Patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting on Interstate 20 east near Jewella Avenue.
Officers arrived and located a green SUV stopped on the inside wall. The driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Kenyon Frazier, sustained multiple gunshot injuries and was transported to University Health Hospital with what was described as life-threatening injuries.
The passenger, who has not yet been identified, was struck at least once and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began their investigation.
They gathered preliminary information suggesting a small dark colored vehicle pulled up beside Frazier’s vehicle and subject(s) began firing at them with what was believed to be a rifle.
No other information is known at this time and investigators are asking for anyone with any information about this homicide to contact them immediately or utilize the Crime Stoppers Organization to relay their information anonymously.
