The search is over for a missing Shreveport teenager with special needs.
Police confirmed Wednesday morning that they located 18-year-old Griffin Scott and he is safe.
A search is underway for a missing Shreveport teenager with special needs.
Authorities said Griffin Scott left his home around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 1500 block of Garland Place. He was last seen walking near the County Tavern restaurant in the 800 block of Brook Hollow Dr.
Scott suffers from a medical condition which requires medication. He is also non-verbal.
Scott is described as a white male, standing 6′ tall and weighing between 160-170 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with light colored pants. He was also carrying a green backpack.
Anyone with information on Scott’s whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
