UPDATE: Police release video of vehicle involved in tattoo shop shooting

UPDATE: Shreveport Police have released video of the vehicle that fired shots inside a tattoo shop, injuring six people. 

It happened on Sunday morning at Trendsetters Tattoo Studio on Jewella Avenue. 

Police found 5 people suffering from gunshot wounds. All were transported to University Health Hospital suffering from varying degrees of injuries but all were described as non-life-threatening. Those injured were identified as 17-year-old Kevin Washington, 17-year-old De’Anthony Johnson, 21-year-old Lakyra Bonkin, 22-year-old Chantrevious Boykin, and a juvenile.

Officers secured area and were in the process of getting investigators to the scene when they were informed of a 6th victim arriving at Willis Knighton North. That victim, 18-year-old Avontae Guiden, was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot injury as well. He was treated and released a short time later.

Violent Crimes and Crime Scene investigators responded to the scene and began collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses. Investigators believe that the suspects arrived in front of the business in a dark colored four door pickup truck. Shots were fired from the driver’s side rear window and from the bed of the pickup. 

Video evidence was collected and has been made available to the public.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the people responsible for this crime.

ORIGINAL: Shreveport Police say five people were shot early Sunday inside a tattoo shop.

It happened at Trendsetters Tattoo on Jewella Avenue around 4:30 a.m. 

Police say black vehicle pulled up and someone inside started shooting.

Four males and one female were shot. Police say the  femalevictim was shot at least three times in the back.

The wounds are considered serious, but not life threatening.

Police are still talking to witnesses. No arrests have been made.
