UPDATE: Police still searching for missing Texarkana man

UPDATE:  Police in Texarkana, Texas are following many leads in their continued search for a missing man.

They say Anthony Carmeli was last seen at his son’s soccer practice on September 11th, 2017. According to police, he walked off in the area near Pine Street.

Authorities say they’ve sent out search parties and even a helicopter since his disappearance.

“We’ve had some people around Texarkana that have said they’ve seen him. You know we’ve not been able to prove any of those as being true but on the other side we haven’t been able to disprove it. So, we’re not real sure at this point” says Shawn Vaughn with Texarkana Texas Police Dept.

Police ask anyone with information on Carmeli, to please contact them.

The Texarkana Arkansas and Texarkana Texas Police Departments are searching for Texarkana Arkansas resident Anthony Carmeli,

Carmeli, 42, last seen at his children’s soccer practice field in Texarkana, Texas, Monday evening.

He was wearing a white t-shirt, shorts and an Arkansas Razorbacks ball cap. 

He has not returned home or made contact with any family.

The family is very concerned for his welfare, as this behavior is very uncharacteristic. Anthony Carmeli was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, shorts and an Arkansas Razorbacks ball cap. If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of Carmeli, please call 903-798-3154.
