UPDATE: Survey team says EF-2 tornado hit DeKalb, TX

UPDATE: The National Weather Service says a EF-2 tornado touched down last night in DeKalb, TX. 

An EF-2 tornado has wind speeds  from 113 to 157 mph.


The National Weather Service will have two teams survey the damage from Sunday night’s storms in DeKalb, TX. 

The teams will begin in Bowie County near the Dekalb community and proceed northeast and southwest from there. 

Results from this survey will be available late this afternoon or evening.

Damage is being reported in DeKalb, Texas after a storm rolled through Sunday evening.Chad Gillenwater from Four States Storm Chasers joined us during the 10 p.m. newscast to talk about damage reports in the area.
