UPDATE: Woman identified in suspicious death investigation

UPDATE:

The Caddo Parish Coroner’s office has identified a woman whose body was discovered inside her Queensborough home.

Linda Johnson, 59, of Shreveport, was found dead in her home Friday morning.

According to Shreveport Police, who continue to investigate Johnson’s death as suspicious, authorities were called to a residence in the 2400 block of Stonewall St just after 9:15 a.m. when a welfare caller reported the woman who lived there did not arrive at work as scheduled. 

Officers entered the residence to check on the woman’s welfare and located the decedent inside.

Detectives are investigating a suspicious death inside a Shreveport home.

Shortly after 9 a.m. Friday a woman was found dead in the 2400 block of Stonewall Ave. after a neighbor called police.

Investigators say they are looking for a black male and two vehicles that are missing. 

The man may be driving:  

  • 2017 white Ford Fusion LA tag 734ACH
  • 2012 tan Ford pickup truck Y0174641 with a chrome step rail

If you see either of these vehicles do not approach them just call your local law enforcement.

Detectives are investigating a call that came in around 9:15 a.m. Friday from a home on Stonewall near Carrie and Portland Avenues.
