Cupid’s arrow may puncture your wallet.

The National Retail Federation says people plan to spend about $145 on Valentine’s gifts.

That’s about seven dollars more than last year.

Sweethearts will get the bulk of the presents.

Those celebrating valentine’s day plan to spend about $90 on their significant others.

Kids and parents will also feel the love getting roughly $25 worth of stuff.

Total spending is expected to reach $19.6 billion, up from $18.2 billion last year.
