Investigators with the Shreveport Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit have procured a warrant for a man who was captured on video burglarizing vehicles back in late April.

On April 21, 2018, just after 2:00 pm an individual was captured on home video attempting to enter at least four cars in the 800 block of Columbia Street. When the subject found all of the doors secured, he armed himself with what appeared to be a brick and threw it through a car window. The suspect then took a purse and fled on foot.

Investigators released the video, which was aired by many of our local media partners. The following day, investigators received a tip from Shreveport Caddo Crime Stoppers that helped them to identify the person they believe responsible for the burglaries as 17-year-old Jalan Adger, of the 200 block of East Dalzell Street. Investigators procured a warrant for Adger charging him with Simple Burglary. His bond is set at $20,000.00.

Anyone with information on Adger’s whereabouts is asked to contact Shreveport Police at 318-673-7300 option #3 or Shreveport Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
