A woman is behind bars after she allegedly threatened to shoot up a Church’s Chicken after she got the wrong order.
It happened Tuesday evening at the chicken chain on Terry Parkway in Terrytown, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Vilette Hammond, 31, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, simple battery and simple criminal damage to property.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Hammond purchased chicken the night before, but came back the next day claiming her order was wrong.
Hammond didn’t have a receipt or the chicken, and when the restaurant refused to give her a refund, she hit an employee and started a fight, investigators said.
