While others are out playing, some are working.
“We have to do it,” said Luis Gonzalez, who is a construction worker. “We got to get paid, even though the rain, work, cold, snow, we just have to come out. It doesn’t mean nothing. Just got to keep working.”
Temperatures continue to dip in the ArkLaTex nearing freezing. But some have no other choice but to stay on the roads.
“These crews are working nonstop addressing all the issues we’re seeing from the seven parish district,” said Erin Buchanan of Louisiana Department of Transportation. “All of our resources are in use and they will continue to be in use until they are no longer needed.”
