It’s Workout Wednesday and today is all about reaching goals with our all-new NBC 6 21-Day Fitness Challenge.
The program is all about getting motivated to drop pounds by working out in short intense intervals.
NBC 6 Producer, Ya’lisha Gatewood, and Malik Martin are the masterminds behind the challenge.
They’re inviting everyone to join the journey for a healthier life. Each day for 21 days participants will do varying exercise movements that range from flutter kicks, leg raises to triceps dips.
“The fitness challenge is for everyone of all ages. It is to get you in shape or toned before Thanksgiving, so that way when you walk in and you see your family you can say hey have you been working out? I’ve been working out and then the day after Thanksgiving you can pig out and that is your cheat day,” says Gatewood.
“We’ve got pushups, we’ve got jump squats we’ve got lunges; abs cardio. Basically, we have a full body each day so you can work out every part of your body.,” says Martin.
