Pederson’s road to Superbowl LII Started in north Louisiana

The road to Super Bowl 52 started a long time ago for Doug Pederson. Graduating from ULM to playing with the Dolphins, Browns, Packers and Eagles, to coaching at Calvary High School; All things his brother in law, Pastor Terry Young lived through not only by his side, but on the sideline with him.

Terry Young said: You know he lost a left tackle and when Wentz went down they didn’t give him a chance all year and who is this Doug guy?   I’m watching it and people are saying he’s one of the worst hires they would say that comments people would say and now hes in the Super Bowl.

And that seems to be a trend in the career of Doug Pederson.

Young: To take a program that was really beginning again for Calvary and in a few short years take them to be district champs which was the first time I believe Evangel had been beaten in 17 years. I remember going to that game and the whole place was just electric.

Fast forward to 2018… not much has changed…

Young: I was at the NFC Chamionship and that place was electric.

The most electric atmosphere in all of sports? The Super Bowl, where Terry is heading to support Doug on the sidelines yet again.

Young: 21 years ago he was on the packers team and family got to go. So now im married my wife Jennifer and I, we’ve got four kids that we get to leave home and they’re kind of jealous were going without them. For me, some people may never care about that stuff see that stuff but for me hes Doug and hes that same guy that coached boys to men and now hes coaching  men to hopefully champions.

Something we might not know about just “Doug”?

Young: He loves desserts, so if were eating with family hes like lets get to the pie
*nats*he needs a superbowl sundae
oh that would be good.
