Shreveport Police respond to shooting in the Ingleside neighborhood

(Source: KTAL/KMSS Staff) Shreveport Police responded to a shots fired call in the Queensborough neighborhood Monday morning.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Shreveport Police responded to a shots fired call in the Ingleside neighborhood early Monday morning. This happened around 1 a.m. on Regent Street.

When police arrived they found a man on his porch who had been shot in the shoulder and hip. SPD says the man was sitting outside his home when a vehicle pulled up and began firing.

The victim was taken to Ochsner LSU Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
