Ashdown Panthers remain confident heading into the playoffs

Sports

Coming into the season the Ashdown Panthers were one of the favorites to make a trip to little rock in 4A. However, after the loss of star quarterback Jaden Hill, the Panthers lost 4 of their last 5 games.
Their confidence hasn’t wavered heading into the playoffs.
Matt Richardson:
“You lose a quarterback that started 31 games in a row and then you look to a 10th grader, he gave us everything he had. This week we had to go to a 9th grader. Now I have a 14 year old playing quarterback against 18 year olds. He did a great job Friday night and we’re real proud of him but the kids haven’t shown any sign of giving up. They’re playing with everything they’ve got and I’m real proud of them.”
