The Calvary baseball team is in the state quarterfinals for the first time since the 2013 season.
The Cavs now 28-9 on the season after sweeping Pope John Paul last weekend, and with such a young team, the Cavaliers are just happy to be here.
Collin Edmonds said, “It’s pretty exciting we haven’t made it this far in the three years I’ve been here. We’ve been working really hard in practice and it’s pretty exciting to be here.”
Shannon Cunningham said, “Very proud of this group of kids, worked very hard over the years. Just thirlled to have a chance to go continue to move on towards that final goal.”
Clavary travels to Dunham for a three game series this weekend, game one set for Friday at 6pm.
