Coach Dennis hopes to help Huntington pick up it’s game

The Huntington football program has a new coach but Stephen Dennis isn’t new to the area.

Dennis comes from Northwood where he served as the defensive coordinator under Jim Gatlin.

Dennis says the transition has been relatively seamless.

Coach Dennis said: “I think the biggest thing that has made the transition easy has been this amazing coaching staff that I have behind me working they just, I ask them to do what they need to do and they rock and roll with it. These kids they want to win they want to do whats right and they’re doing what we ask them to do. I think as coaches if you have guys that are willing to do what you ask them to do then that’s where you need to start from.”

Craig Davis RB/WR said: “We’re a family now. Everybody been bonding together and made it easy on us.”

The Raiders open the season on the road at Mansfield Friday night.
