Parkway senior Dalton Driggers signed his letter of intent today to continue his wrestling career at Briar Cliff university up in Iowa. Driggers is the number-1 ranked 160 pounder in the state and says he chose Briar Cliff because of his relationship with the coach and former parkway standout Zach Funderburk.
Dalton Driggers:
“I had a very close connection with the coach and the team captain is actually like a brother to me. He’s been my best friend for years. He came to Parkway and he told me to come up here and I visited for a week and it was the funnest time of my life. Not a bad thing to say about the school.”
Emmett Beggs:
“Briar Cliff is where he wanted to be. Zac is up there and they have a really strong relationship. It felt comfortable for him. That’s what I told him to begin with, find a place that you’re going to love and not a place you’re going to hate in three years.”
