NATCHITOCHES – The Northwestern State baseball team will be the No. 7 seed in the 2019 Southland Conference Tournament, which begins Wednesday at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas.
The Demons will open tournament play against Central Arkansas at noon Wednesday in the second game of the event. Northwestern State (30-23, 15-15) and the Bears (29-25, 19-11) have not met this season and have not played each other in the conference tournament since 2015.
