A couple of weeks ago mother nature spoke and she rained over the schedules of many baseball teams. That included the Northwestern State Demons, after three weeks NSU and LSU will meet at Brown-Stroud field for the first time since 2014. The Demons now 7-6 overall on their season coming off of a three game road series with Abilene Christian. LSU on the other hand is11-4 coming off of a series win against Cal. Coach Barbier says the Demons are excited for the long awaited matchup, but it’s all business.
Bobby Barbier said, “We gotta play better you know and that’s important for our team to understand moving into it whether it’s LSU or whoever comes in we have to do a better job as a team of competing for the full nine innings. It’s good to play you know kind of the flagship of our state you know and it brings people from this part of the world to come out and see us maybe it’s come out to see them to see us but it gets them out there in the yard I know we’ve got a bunch of tickets sold and it’s going to be a really good night for Demon baseball.”
