The Louisiana Tech baseball team opened a lot of eyes on the college baseball scene over the weekend.
The Bulldogs finished 2-1 at the Frisco Classic with wins over college baseball powers Texas A&M and Cal.
The Louisiana tech bats lit up the tournament averaging five runs a game.
Standing toe to toe with a team like A&M on Friday night gives head coach Lane Burroughs and company a lot of confidence moving forward in 2018.
Burroughs said, “I think you can, no doubt. You have to because they’re a great club and they play in a great league and we went toe to toe with them in essentially an away game because they had such a great crowd. I think without a doubt you can take away some confidence, no question.”
