Elysian Fields looks to slow things down on offense in 2018

The Elysian Fields Yellow jackets have had a ton of success over the last two seasons.
In fact they’re 19-5 over that two year stretch.
Head Coach Scott Ford and the Jackets have been synonymies with a high powered offense where they throw the ball all over the field.

This year they’re probably going to pull that back a bit and shorten games by running the ball and running the clock.

He said they just want to build on the program’s recent success.

Ford said, “The last couple of years we’ve played some really good football. Things haven’t always gone our way but at the end of the day 19-5 is not a bad resume for these kids. We want to build on that and continue to have a quality first class program and put ourselves to be successful from here forward.”

Senior Offensive Lineman Cameron Caudle said, “I think this year we’re going to have the best chemistry any team has ever had at EF. We’ve all grown up together, we all like each other.”

Elysian Fields opens the season at home against White Oak on Friday August 31st.
