The last time the Blue Devils were on the football field well let’s just say they’d like to forget it a 59-7 loss at home and to the hands of Wake Forrest. Now less than 24 hours away from the Walk On’s Independence Bowl and they say they’re using that loss to fuel the fire inside them.
Daniel Jones – We’re motivated by that last game I think you know obviously we were disappointed with the way it ended but we let that fuel our Bowl prep and kind of energize our practice before we left and I think that’s carried over to our time here we’ve had, like coach said a few really good practices here. You know I think we’re certainly excited to get back out there one more time.
Tim Owens – As for Temple the senior class now the most successful class in program history. Coach Foley says it has everything to do with the winning culture that’s been built in Philly.
Ed Foley – It’s who they are as people and what they’ve brought to the program and how they’ve created a culture. We can be, and you guys can probably see this as coaches we can be ourselves cause if we say something to somebody that isn’t exactly probably the most politically correct thing to say to a younger player, V will be like just chill out man that’s just Coach Foley he loves you. It’s like we’re good. So you can be yourself when you have great leaders around you and people that understand the culture. The culture that they created has created a winning environment.
