#15 LSU drops Game 2, Series at #4 Arkansas, 11-6

The 15th-ranked LSU Tigers sprinted out to a three-run lead (3-0) after runs batted in by Daniel Cabrera and Saul Garza (two-run homer) in the first three innings, but #14 Arkansas would respond with 11 unanswered runs to take Game Two, 11-6.

The Hogs were feuled by a six-run eighth inning to seal the series win.

The two standouts for LSU were Josh Smith, with two hits, and Brandt Broussard, who recorded three hits and two runs. Eric Walker pitched 4 1/3 innings while only allowing two earned runs in the start.

The Razorback win clinched the first series win over the Tigers since 2011.

The two teams will now meet for Game Three at 1pm on Saturday.
