LSU sophomore point guard, Tremont Waters, will not play in LSU’s game on Tuesday vs Texas A&M, according to a report from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.
Sources: LSU’s Tremont Waters (illness) will not play tonight against Texas A&M. Also did not play in Saturday’s win against Tennessee.— Jon Rothstein (@JonRothstein) February 27, 2019
Waters first sat out in LSU’s upset win at home vs #5 Tennessee this past Saturday, but the Tigers needed big contributions from freshman guard Javonte Smart and junior guard Skylar Mays.
LSU has only lost two games at home this season. The Texas A&M Aggies have won four of their last five SEC games, coming into the matchup.
Tipoff is set for 8pm on Tuesday night in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
