The Tigers were scheduled to face Bacone College on September 15th. Since Bacone is closing its doors they were in need of an eleventh opponent. Which was found in Oklahoma Panhandle State; Who will be paying a visit to Grambling on October 6th. Fobbs said he was impressed with the programs ability to quickly adjust to the situation.
“Broderick Fobbs – Our Athletic Director is responsible for making sure we schedule games. The school is actually folding and we had to go about trying to fnd another opponent. I thought he did a really good job at going out and trying to get someone else. You know, especially this late in the game. For us to get the eleventh ball game in Oklahoma Panhandle is really really good because we have to have that eleventh ball game.”
