Minden looks to reload in 2017

After a year that saw the Minden Crimson Tide reach the 4A quarterfinals, the team is having to hit the reset button.

Entering the new season the Tide is having to replace a number of starters on both side of the ball, including quarterback Antonio Rivette and linebacker Zikerrion Baker.

Head coach James Heard says the team has been working on filling out their depth chart during fall camp and he feels theyre ready to go for Friday night.

“I think it’s looking pretty good. We got Seth Tyler to play quarterback this year. He’s coming here and learning everything over the course of the offseason. He’s got a really good arm and operates everything well” said coach Heard. “I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do.”

The Tide open the season on Friday night on the road at Haughton.
