Mudbugs healing up after start of the emotional series vs Corpus Christi

Sports

The Shreveport Mudbugs are feeling good after starting the post season with back to back wins against Corpus Christi but they’re also a bit sore. An emotional weekend meant fists were flying from both teams. Fans might have thought they went to a fight and a hockey game broke out especially Saturday night.
But Coach Zirnis and the team knows its a part of the sport and the playoffs can make a lot of crazy things happen on the ice.

“Karlis Zirnis –  Everything magnifies in the playoffs every call every turnover  not getting the pucks out. Just makes it bigger and bigger. So again we just have to make sure we stick to our game keep it simple and we will be hard to play against.

Ryan Burnett- It’s part of the game of hockey so you just have to  be mentally focused for it. You have to know that it’s coming but play our game anyways. Protect yourself but also just play a hard game.
Brendan VanSweden- Kind of hurts a little bit but I think it looks kind of cool.
